We don’t like to brag, but we tend to think that The Cornealius Properties is unlike any other wedding venue out there.
Truthfully, we could probably write for pages and pages on this topic, but we’ll spare you (ha!). Here’s why our venue is unique:
STYLE AND FEATURES - The star of the show has always been our Birdsong Chapel. From the outside, it looks like a traditional yet elegant white church.
But once you walk closer, you can’t help but notice the reclaimed wooden doors and then gaze inside in awe at the old wooden pews and beautiful black chandeliers hanging from the ceiling above.
What really catches your attention is when you realize that the sides of the chapel are open to the surrounding nature, and you hear the birds chirping in the background. God’s presence is HERE, and it is truly medicine for the soul.
Beautiful, winding paths through the woods and lush, grassy areas abound around the property and are the perfect background for your photos! You’ll find deer, frogs, and herrings (among other wildlife) as you explore the nature that encompasses the venue.
Many venues have a bridal suite for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready on the day of the wedding. At The Cornealius Properties, we offer the Honeymoon House for the bride and her girls to eat, relax, and get ready together.
Not only that, but we also have The Camp to house the groom and groomsmen! This is a feature not offered at many other venues.
It really is a man’s dream! What groom wouldn’t want to fish in our pond, shoot some hoops, and grill with his buddies before going to the altar?!
In addition, we also offer the (brand new!) Couples’ Cottage and The Family House to host friends and family members for an additional cost.
We also can’t leave out the Carriage Hall! It is the perfect space to celebrate after your ceremony. Make a grand entrance through the large, carriage-style doors and get ready to hit the dance floor!
The Carriage Hall is fitted with beautiful farmhouse tables and white chiavari chairs. It also features a full kitchen for catering purposes.
CONVENIENCES - There are many reasons why The Cornealius Properties is simply convenient for our couples, their guests, and their vendors. Our property is just a short drive from Raleigh and other nearby areas. We are not hard to find!
Additionally, the layout of our venue was strategically set up to best serve everyone. No need to be running back and forth all day! We have plenty of parking to accommodate all of your guests.
We also always have one of our Venue Managers on-site the day of your wedding. They are there to make sure everything runs smoothly, and can be there in a moment’s notice if you need anything from us!
We value providing more than just an ‘on-site contact’ that may or may not answer when you call. Rather, we have someone on the property to assist you however they can. Because at the end of the day, we truly care about each and every one of our couples.
THE TCP FAMILY - Not only is our property special on its own, but the family behind the venue is even more special. For us, this is much more than just a job. It’s our passion. It’s the expression of God’s goodness to us.
