Introducing “WOLFRIDE” the PERFECT convertible GETAWAY CAR!

Blog post inspired by this 1971 Cadillac Eldorado.. “Time goes faster than you think!”

Our first “Mini Styled Shoot” at the Lewis-Atkinson Home featuring our new “getaway” car “WOLFRIDE”! June 3rd, 2023.

…My dad invites our family to a group shared album titled “Brooke and Kenneth’s second wedding” it makes me laugh out loud but then brings tears to my eyes. I take a moment to reflect back to almost SEVEN years ago when I began bugging my parents about a wedding venue…. And I thank God for ALL of THIS! I thank God for this time and for this memory in the making.

My father’s younger sister, Valarie Barlow, is a “Rosewoodian” who went off to UNC Chapel Hill to become a pharmacist. I also must add, since, she has also gotten her MBA and has become the Senior Vice President at WakeMed Hospital! It was during her time at UNC that she met her husband; He had attended NC State University pursuing his undergraduate degree and then continued on to receive his doctorate in dentistry at UNC Chapel Hill. He is a very devoted Wolfpack fan; their house is “divided”, she is a Heels fan through and through. One summer, while Tim and Valerie were engaged, Tim even lived in Rosewood while completing a dental internship at O’Berry Center; Oh my Mema did LOVE him! I heard about “the summer Tim lived in Rosewood”, from her, most of my life and I wasn’t even born when this happened!

I have fond memories with my aunt and uncle, riding their boat every summer, going to a waterpark every summer and looking for sand dollars on a sand bar every summer. Tim and Valerie’s middle daughter has worked on the flower farm the past few summers and has recently become our Pinterest + social media manager; we are thrilled about all the opportunities that lie ahead. She says these things will look great on her college resume one day (She’s 15)!

My aunt and uncle have graciously offered for us to include what was my uncle’s father’s 1971 Cadillac Eldorado as a super fun new addition to The Cornealius Properties + Lewis Atkinson Home! This Cadillac was totally restored by my uncle Tim’s father as a gift to him. Thus, it was painted NC State RED! Though my Mema Iris and my uncle Tim’s father Bo are no longer here with us, I like to think they are smiling down from Heaven about how this whole situation with the car being shared with The Cornealius Properties + Lewis Atkinson Home couples is playing out!

My Mema Iris was the matriarch of my father’s family; I know my Mema Iris would also be so proud of her grandson Steven, my dad’s older sister’s son and all the ways he is involved with this “project of a lifetime”! I reflect and am most thankful for how this project of “A WEDDING VENUE” continues to grow and bring my extended family together! The actual events and hosting couples and their guests here IS FUN and is “the dream”; this place could not exist without all of the people who are coming here from all over the world. But the real thrill for me, as I’ve gotten a little older, is actually growing this dream with “The NProjectsLLC Crew”, spending TIME with my family working on a project. Time with family is the most valuable thing we have, here on earth.

My prayer is that wonderful memories will be made here for all with loved ones that will last a lifetime; photos and videos will be taken and cherished for years and years to come. Celebrating the very BEST of times!

Thank you so much to Lofton Photography, Brooke’s Fresh Cut Flower farm and as always, Carolina Bridal World!
