The Cornealius Properties Lewis Atkinson Grand Opening Styled Shoot

My goal for The Cornelius properties Lewis Atkinson “grand opening” styled shoot, was to work with as many of our favorite vendors as possible to show off as many different vantage points and styles from one great day that we worked really hard to prepare for and have every square inch of the property decorated worthy of a real wedding! Of course, in hopes to book real weddings!

We had hosted a few real weddings at Lewis Atkinson prior to this styled shoot and prior to completing the reception area we named “ Heritage Hall”, so we wanted to really show off this space!

This shoot was truly inspired by Ms. Judy Lewis, the lady who restored and maintained this historic home for much of her life and then entrusted this property to my family last year. When Ms.Judy approached my parents and told them that she wanted to sell the property to them, we came over a few times while she was still living here. Ms.Judy had the entire house decorated with all of her blue and white plates and ginger jars that she had collected over the years from her and her late husband‘s travels. As someone who has always admired an old white farmhouse and someone who serves family dinners on my great grandmother‘s old Blue Willow collection, I knew I wanted our first open house here to be a reflection of these things.

I am so thankful for the people that showed up for me and my family to be a part of this styled shoot; to help get this new dream off the ground! So many of these vendors have been a part of all things Cornealius since the beginning or very close to it!

Molly, the owner of Brew Masters Mobile showed up 9 months pregnant to our styled shoot, dragging coolers and serving drinks herself, she has been a rockstar on our prefered vendor list since day one. She and her employees are always top notch to work with.

Elizabeth, one of our former brides, has become our main point of contact for Carolina Bridal World in Smithfield, she is the manager and she and of course the owners graciously allow us to use new on the floor dresses for all of our styled shoots! Their gowns are exquisite and who knows how many they have in their store to try on, hundreds, maybe thousands! I have never seen a dress on one of our models I didn’t like! Their store is such a FUN and exciting place and all the girls that work there are so sweet.

Jennys Music Studio provided LIVE MUSICIANS in multiple areas, at the “ceremony”, cocktail hour and reception area!

Hair and make up for our models were done by, Kenz Minchew and Madison Tyndall who works under her personal name.

Mary-Catherine Talton, owner of Southern Balloon Company provided a balloon garland.

Coy has been a part of almost every styled shoot we have hosted! We first discovered him and his wife, owners of Rigdon Photography, when they did an engagement session at the Birdsong property and delivered the couple a few HUNDRED fabulous photos sooo quickly, the couple was overjoyed with his work and so were we! He and his wife Madeline are a pleasure to work along side, they are humble and kind and their work is outstanding which is certainly something to be said about this wild industry!

We worked with a lot of “new”-er to us vendors, vendors that we didn’t know very well before this, maybe they had been to the Cornealius Properties a time or two before. EVERYONE was so much fun to work with! Everyones styles were different and all of the content created was gorgeous.

Kristin Lassiter was a photographer and we have had the opportunity already to work with her quite a bit since!

Sea X Summit Films, Josh and his his second shooter were our videographers are always professional and fun to work along side.

Ludwid Photo and Film, Ivan and Brooke, husband and wife photography and videography team have been to the Birdsong venue before and their work is BEAUTIFUL, we are so glad they came to be a part of Lewis Atkinson’s grand opening!

Noah Bailey from The Story Creative, Montana Hamlet who owns Something Candid Content, Clara farag photography, Jade, owner of Set Apart Photography, Kimberly Hernandez from Infinite Splendor Photography, Jenny Barrow Photography, Sydney Leigh Photography were all a part of this perfect day! We cannot say enough goof things about every single vendor! We are still hopeful to receive and add content from the few photographers listed above but not work shown below!

This event was planned, styled and coordinated with my team beside me every step of the way, the Brooke’s Fresh Cut Flower Farm team.
